Gabriel Tan, born 1982, graduated from the National University of Singapore. He studied for one semester at the Ecole Cantonale d’Art de Lausanne, Switzerland and also interned at Lunar Design, San Francisco before returning to Singapore. Prior to forming Outofstock, he has won several prizes including the Bombay Sapphire Tokyo Grand Prix, Electrolux Design Lab award and an IDEA award.

Sebastián Alberdi, born 1978, graduated from the Istituto Europeo di Design in Barcelona. He has won the Antonio Miró Award in 2004, the first runner-up at the Bombay Sapphire Spanish Grand Prix in 2005, and the Spanish Foundation of Art and Design Incubadora Award in 2006 before forming Outofstock. He is currently teaching at the Istituto Europeo di Design Barcelona.

Wendy Chua, born 1984, graduated from the National University of Singapore and she also studied for one semester at the Ecole Cantonale d’Art de Lausanne, Switzerland. Upon graduation, she moved to London for a year, where she interned for Motorola and Tomoko Azumi’s TNA Studio. Her personal works have been exhibited in Milan, Stockholm, Copenhagen and Beijing and she is also a winner of the Electrolux Design Lab and IDEA award.

Gustavo Maggio, born 1980, studied industrial design at the University of Buenos Aires. Since graduation, he has worked in Barcelona and Buenos Aires for various companies on interiors, product design, retail design and packaging. His works have been exhibited in Buenos Aires, Stockholm and Milan.
